Daniel Hugo is currently studying for a PhD in modern European philosophy in London. He holds bachelors degrees in law and history, and a masters degree in philosophy, and has received numerous academic prizes including the Deans Award at the University of New South Wales for academic excellence. The breadth of Daniel's own educational history is reflected in the subjects he is able to teach. Alongside his own research, Daniel has held teaching and tutoring positions in Australia, Germany and the UK, and brings a wealth of experience working with high school students of all ages, both privately and in class environments, across a wide field of disciplines: from English literature, to history (ancient and modern), philosophy/ethics and legal studies. He has prepared students for entrance exams alongside annual examinations with great success. A writer himself, he is highly committed to conveying to students the essentials of literary technique and form, improving not only students' knowledge and appredication of texts but how to better express and communicate ideas. A great believer that results always improve alongside a burgeoning enthusiasm for the subject matter, sessions with Daniel are as fun as they are challenging.
